Friends of Bangladesh UK (FOB) is committed to improving the lives of disadvantaged individuals and communities in Bangladesh and the UK. By focusing on critical areas such as healthcare, education, and sustainable development, we aim to empower people with the resources, skills, and opportunities necessary to break the cycle of poverty and hardship. Through compassion, dedication, and collaborative efforts, we strive to create lasting, positive change that uplifts communities and enhances their future prospects.
We envision a world where all individuals, regardless of their background or circumstances, have equal access to essential healthcare, quality education, and the tools needed to achieve a better quality of life. By breaking down barriers to these fundamental rights, we aim to build a more just and equitable society, where opportunity, dignity, and hope are accessible to everyone.
Breast Cancer Awareness Clinic in Mirpur, Dhaka. This clinic was inaugurated by the British High Commissioner to Bangladesh and has since been at the forefront of early detection and treatment for breast cancer. We recently installed a state-of-the-art mammography machine to enhance our screening capabilities, offering thousands of women access to high-quality diagnostic services.
Mobile Breast Cancer Detection Unit As part of our commitment to healthcare equity, we are developing a mobile breast cancer screening unit that will travel across Bangladesh. This mobile clinic will focus on rural areas, where women often lack access to proper healthcare facilities.
We look forward to your participation in this significant event as we continue to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.
